Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Heby FF's Nils Skog started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Stig-Åke Ljungberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Ian Almkvist made a huge save. After some careless play in the Holmön defense, Lukas Emander kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Olof Almstedt. The Holmön fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Olof Almstedt should have stopped the shot. Jens-Erik Larsson kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. If Stig-Åke Ljungberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lukas Emander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nils Skog in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sven-Olof Almstedt saved Holmön from getting behind. A collision led to Holmön getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Per-Erik Abrahamsson hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lukas Emander in the 32nd minute of play forced Holmön's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Almstedt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Holmön's Per-Olof Lindman got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Lukas Emander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Almstedt having to interfere. Lukas Emander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Sven-Olof Almstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Heby FF's Nils Skog sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sven-Olof Almstedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sven-Olof Almstedt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nils Skog in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anton Igelström to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Allan Lundqvist during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Holmön's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Skog came free, but Sven-Olof Almstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
