But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olof Kihlman couldn't finish the play. Edvin Wall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilbert Fridlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Bocklund having to interfere. Eric Bocklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Fridlund in the 26th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Valentin Alin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilbert Fridlund struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Eric Bocklund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karungi FK. Karungi FK's Osvald Göransson got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eric Bocklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilbert Fridlund in the 32nd minute of the match. But to his dismay, Edvin Wall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 48 minutes into the match, Tibro's goal looked a bit too open when Osvald Göransson came free, but Eric Bocklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilbert Fridlund to make the kick off. In the 59th minute of the match Robin Lundberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens-Erik Kjellkvist skillfully saved the ball. If Gilbert Fridlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tibro's zone, Gilbert Fridlund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eric Bocklund came out of the goal and Gilbert Fridlund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Tibro support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
