Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arne Hökkvist got the match started through his kick off. Karl-Magnus Svanström might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andreas Siggman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Karl-Magnus Svanström ran back to his position shaking his head. Karl-Magnus Svanström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Siggman having to interfere. Sven-Olof Sundström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig Wennerlund in the 11th minute of the match. Andreas Siggman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Magnus Svanström in the 17th minute of play. Bettna's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Greger Gustafsson in the 19th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Gabriel Andberg heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Arne Hökkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Karl-Magnus Svanström collided with an opponent which caused him a fractured collar bone. 24 minutes into the game, Leif Felin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Veddige's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bettna the free kick. Bettna's Sten Mårtensson was substituted for Karl-Magnus Svanström. Veddige's Andreas Siggman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Mårtensson in the 26th minute of play. Sven-Olof Sundström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Hökkvist in the 32nd minute of play. Sven-Olof Sundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Ånger, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Sten Mårtensson in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Andreas Siggman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mark Käller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Sten Mårtensson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andreas Siggman was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Sten Mårtensson struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Andreas Siggman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bettna. A hard shot 43 in the game by Sten Mårtensson from a close distance when the talented Andreas Siggman managed to make a qualified save. Veddige's players were relieved. Bettna's Sten Mårtensson got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sten Mårtensson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arne Hökkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Sven-Olof Sundström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Ånger in the 56th minute of play forced Bettna's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Sundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Bettna's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Sundström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig Wennerlund. Stig Wennerlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Olof Sundström having to interfere. 62 minutes into the match, Bettna's goalkeeper Sven-Olof Sundström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig Wennerlund. Andreas Siggman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sten Mårtensson's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. In the 64thth minute of the game Sten Mårtensson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Veddige's Andreas Siggman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sten Mårtensson in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andreas Siggman saved Veddige from getting behind. If Arne Hökkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Fribäck could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Sven-Olof Sundström made a huge save. Sten Mårtensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Andreas Siggman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andreas Siggman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Mårtensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When Ingvar Olofsson fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Veddige's protests and gave Ingvar Olofsson a yellow card for diving instead. 87 minutes into the game, Sten Mårtensson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Andreas Siggman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute Sten Mårtensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Siggman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bettna had won after a very even match.
