Rättelöv Flamingos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Runmarö IF the free kick. Kennet Mellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasper Fastesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Kennet Mellberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Per-Erik Kråk went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 98th minute Runmarö IF were awarded a corner. Jens Vesterberg went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Runmarö IF's corner Jens Vesterberg fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kennet Mellberg quite easily take care of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Runmarö IF fully deserved thier win.
