Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) FC Kvarnholmen's Olov Joensson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Herman Eklund charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herman Eklund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Förslöv FK booed when FC Kvarnholmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Eklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Jan-Ove Arenius sped through FC Kvarnholmen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marc Samuelsson. 8 minutes into the match, Förslöv FK's goal looked a bit too open when Henrik Björk came free, but Ragnar Kruuse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henrik Björk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ragnar Kruuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Wilhelm Törnkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Förslöv FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Kvarnholmen the free kick. After a rather tough play, Förslöv FK's Wilhelm Törnkvist got a free kick in the 16th minute. If Olov Joensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marc Samuelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roy Almstedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Almstedt in the 24th minute of play forced FC Kvarnholmen's goalkeeper Marc Samuelsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Olov Joensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Kvarnholmen's Henrik Björk got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ragnar Kruuse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henrik Björk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of FC Kvarnholmen:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Förslöv FK:s goal. Johannes Drewitz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henrik Björk in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ragnar Kruuse saved Förslöv FK from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roger Lundblad during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 43 played minutes FC Kvarnholmen got a freekick which was hit by Roger Lundblad. If Henrik Björk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roy Almstedt made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Förslöv FK's goalkeeper Ragnar Kruuse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Henrik Björk. After 55 played minutes Förslöv FK got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Drewitz. Olov Joensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olov Joensson kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Kvarnholmen defense, Roy Almstedt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marc Samuelsson. The FC Kvarnholmen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marc Samuelsson should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Förslöv FK's Ragnar Kruuse got control of the ball when Henrik Björk tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 84 played minutes Olov Joensson rounded Förslöv FK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. After having played for 87 minutes, Henrik Björk managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Kvarnholmen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henrik Björk was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olov Joensson in the 91st minute of play forced Förslöv FK's goalkeeper Ragnar Kruuse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute, Förslöv FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Olov Joensson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Förslöv FK players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
