In the 36th match minute, Entrium if was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Forsberg to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Olof Ferm from long distance, 37 minutes into the match, got Ian Arenberg's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Entrium if's Ian Arenberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Entrium if from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Entrium if's Vilhelm Adelsköld got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 41st minute, Arvid Sandberg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ian Arenberg. The goal made the score 1-0. With a little luck, Entrium if's Ian Arenberg got control of the ball when Felix Bratt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Felix Bratt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ian Arenberg having to make a save. Vilhelm Adelsköld charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vilhelm Adelsköld the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Vilhelm Adelsköld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Felix Bratt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. Gagnef's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
