Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Överum RK's Mats Ahlquist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Arvid Botvidsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Överum RK's Dan Mogren didn't even have to move. After 8 minutes of play, Holmsveden BF's Ove Berg made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan Mogren was left in no man's land by his defense there! In a very dangerous position, a player in Överum RK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Dan Mogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Holmberg in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Överum RK's Rutger Albohm got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Arvid Botvidsson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Överum RK's Dan Mogren didn't even have to move. Ove Bergs short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Dan Mogren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 31st minute, Ove Berg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ove Berg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Dan Mogren made a huge save. Claes Ferm's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Mogren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Ove Berg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Dan Mogren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Claes Ferm came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Holmsveden BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claes Ferm couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Claes Ferm made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Roland Holmberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Holmsveden BF's Bengt Engström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Holmsveden BF from getting a goal against them. Per-Åke Holmgren kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Överum RK's Mats Ahlquist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bengt Engström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roland Holmberg hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Holmsveden BF's goalkeeper Bengt Engström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mats Ahlquist in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt Engström saved Holmsveden BF from getting behind. Per-Åke Holmgren charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per-Åke Holmgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Holmsveden BF's Per-Åke Holmgren got a free kick in the 66th minute. If Ove Berg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Överum RK's Dan Mogren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ove Berg in the 72nd minute of play. Ove Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Mogren having to interfere. Dan Mogren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ove Berg in the 80th minute of the match. Kenneth Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Engström having to interfere. Ove Berg struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Dan Mogren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Holmsveden BF. Holmsveden BF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
