Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Felix Bratt put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bengt Engström. Per-Åke Holmgren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elof Dahlgren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Gagnef's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Berg came free, but Elof Dahlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Claes Ferm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Claes Ferm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elof Dahlgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With 18 minutes on the clock, Staffan Forsberg commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 18 minutes into the game, one of Gagnef:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Claes Ferm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elof Dahlgren having to interfere. Elof Dahlgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Ferm in the 39th minute of play. Gagnef's Elof Dahlgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claes Ferm in the 44th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Ove Berg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Claes Ferm stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felix Bratt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Bengt Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gagnef's zone, Roland Holmberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elof Dahlgren came out of the goal and Roland Holmberg tried to chip the ball over his head. A very good chance. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gagnef's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Arvid Botvidsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Holmsveden BF's players had a chance to rest. Ove Berg in the 69thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elof Dahlgren, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 75th minute, Ove Berg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice moves Ove Berg could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Elof Dahlgren however easily saved by the left post. When Ove Berg came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Holmsveden BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ove Berg couldn't finish the play. Holmsveden BF's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
