The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kenneth Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11 minutes, Rutger Albohm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Överum RK and the Entrium if players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rutger Albohm kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Dan Mogren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ola Duset in the 12th minute of play. Mark Ahlström could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Dan Mogren made a huge save. Mark Ahlström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rutger Albohm hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Dan Mogren made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Mark Ahlström sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Entrium if booed when Överum RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Björck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edward Forsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 25 minutes of play, Överum RK's Mats Ahlquist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ian Arenberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rune Borre charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rune Borre the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rune Borre kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Överum RK's Fredrik Olsmann broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Överum RK's Mats Ahlquist in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Entrium if's goalie prevented a goal. 40 minutes into the game, Greger Eklund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Överum RK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Entrium if the free kick. 40 minutes into the game, one of Överum RK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Dan Mogren, was totally fooled by Entrium if's Edward Forsberg, who 42 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ola Duset stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mark Ahlström in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Mogren saved Överum RK from getting behind. Kenneth Jakobsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mats Ahlquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenneth Jakobsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ian Arenberg having to make a save. Mats Ahlquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kenneth Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Ian Arenberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kenneth Jakobsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ian Arenberg having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Överum RK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Entrium if:s goal. The referee gave Entrium if a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edward Forsberg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Överum RK's Dan Mogren. 2-1. Mark Ahlström struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Dan Mogren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Entrium if. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Duset in the 94th minute of play forced Överum RK's goalkeeper Dan Mogren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ola Duset might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Mogren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ola Duset ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew the final whistle, Entrium if could leave the field as winners, despite Överum RK having more of the ball for most of the match.
