Rosenfors BF's Erland Algren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Arhenius in the 23rd minute of play. When Tomas Falkrans fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rosenfors BF's protests and gave Tomas Falkrans a yellow card for diving instead. Erland Algren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johnny Öberg got free with Erland Algren in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Tobias Lindmark managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rosenfors BF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Lindmark was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
