In the 5th minute, Hjalmar Nord hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 8 played minutes Charlie Lundqvist rounded Ytterby IK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Mats Hagströms short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Charlie Vollander to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Marcus Stephansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Hult in the 17th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes, Ytterby IK's Marcus Salqvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcus Stephansson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ytterby IK reached it. 24 minutes into the match, Malung's goal looked a bit too open when Pål Hult came free, but Marcus Stephansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ytterby IK booed when Malung was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hjalmar Nord didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Malung's goal looked a bit too open when Pål Hult came free, but Marcus Stephansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pål Hult struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Marcus Stephansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ytterby IK. Börje Ahlfors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Mats Hagström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mats Hagström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pål Hult to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Mats Hagström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Vollander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus Stephansson made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Börje Ahlfors sent off a good shot on target. Pål Hult sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Börje Ahlfors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Stephansson having to interfere. Börje Ahlfors could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Marcus Stephansson made a huge save. 84 minutes into the match, Charlie Lundqvist notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ytterby IK's Charlie Vollander. Charlie Vollander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Charlie Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mats Hagström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charlie Lundqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Charlie Vollander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ytterby IK's Charlie Vollander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Hagström in the 93rd minute of play. Charlie Lundqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charlie Vollander having to interfere. Malung were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ytterby IK for a fine match.
