Simon Berglund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Real Madrid's zone, Valter Björkdahl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Egil Caspersson came out of the goal and Valter Björkdahl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Real Madrid's Egil Caspersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Björkdahl in the 19th minute of play. Tobias Sillén struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Rickard Björk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Real Madrid. 24 minutes into the match, Hultafors's Simon Berglund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Egil Caspersson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomas Nykvist hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Valter Björkdahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hultafors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valter Björkdahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Egil Caspersson managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Hultafors's Simon Berglund fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Tomas Nykvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Valter Björkdahl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Egil Caspersson. Real Madrid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Valter Björkdahl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tobias Sillén to make the kick off. Alf Berg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Rickard Björk made a huge save. Alf Berg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rickard Björk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valter Björkdahl in the 62nd minute of play forced Real Madrid's goalkeeper Egil Caspersson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Valter Björkdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66thth minute of the game Valter Björkdahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Madrid's Egil Caspersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 70th minute Valter Björkdahl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Caspersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egil Caspersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Berglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alf Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Björk having to interfere. If Valter Björkdahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Berglund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Egil Caspersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Zebastian Qvarnström advanced and headed the ball into goal, 3-0 in the 89th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 93rd minute of the game. One of Hultafors:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Real Madrid:s goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Hultafors fans cheered their team off the field, for while Real Madrid had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
