Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kvidinge's Samuel Bratt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Samuel Bratt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Joel Bremming fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Källö-knippla's protests and gave Joel Bremming a yellow card for diving instead. Sven Mattsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ronny Ersman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jörgen Dahlberg fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Källö-knippla's protests and gave Jörgen Dahlberg a yellow card for diving instead. Jörgen Dahlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Bengt-Åke Bruhn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Axelsson in the 26th minute of play. Conny Åberg hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Samuel Bratt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronny Ersman having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Källö-knippla's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Mattsson came free, but Ronny Ersman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sonny Carlsson struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Bengt-Åke Bruhn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Källö-knippla. 43 minutes into the game, Sonny Carlsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Källö-knippla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kvidinge the free kick. The supporters of Kvidinge booed when Källö-knippla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sonny Carlsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronny Ersman came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Kvidinge's Sven Mattsson. But to his dismay, Sven Mattsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ivar Axelsson to strike the kick off in the second half. When Sven Mattsson came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Kvidinge fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven Mattsson couldn't finish the play. If Ivar Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivar Axelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Samuel Bratt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ronny Ersman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ronny Ersman made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Sven Mattsson sent off a good shot on target. Ivar Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Kvidinge's protests and gave Conny Åberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes Kvidinge got a freekick which was hit by Conny Åberg. Ivar Axelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Bengt-Åke Bruhn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kvidinge's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Bruhn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sven Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sonny Carlsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Åke Bruhn having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Sven Mattsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronny Ersman. Källö-knippla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sven Mattsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. After 86 played minutes Kvidinge got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Holmberg. Ivar Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Axelsson in the 95th minute of play forced Kvidinge's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Bruhn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvin Wästerberg kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, Kvidinge's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Axelsson came free, but Bengt-Åke Bruhn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Kvidinge supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Kvidinge would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
