Ingvar Sundling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Sigvard Josefsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ingvar Sundling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lack of progress's Morgan Cane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Felin in the 19th minute of play. Georg Felin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Morgan Cane having to make a save. A collision led to Lack of progress getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Johannes Melberg hit a great ball. A collision led to Lack of progress getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Dick Linqvist hit a great ball. Jimmie Berg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Morgan Cane having to interfere. In the 42nd minute Georg Felin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morgan Cane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute of the match Gabriel Runberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sigvard Josefsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Ingvar Sundling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lack of progress's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingvar Sundling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ingvar Sundling might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sigvard Josefsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ingvar Sundling ran back to his position shaking his head. Villiam Bäck took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sigvard Josefsson. Sigvard Josefsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ingvar Sundling struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Sigvard Josefsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lack of progress. 71 minutes into the match, Fotö's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Sundling came free, but Sigvard Josefsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fotö's goalkeeper Sigvard Josefsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Felin in the 82nd minute of play forced Lack of progress's goalkeeper Morgan Cane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jimmie Berg struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Morgan Cane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fotö. After a rather tough play, Lack of progress's Aron Apelquist got a free kick in the 84th minute. The supporters of Fotö booed when Lack of progress was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Apelquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Villiam Bäck scored 0-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sigvard Josefsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sigvard Josefsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingvar Sundling, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lack of progress's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
