The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emanuel Larsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Stefan Esbjörnsson made a huge save. Stefan Esbjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Mårtensson in the 9th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Emanuel Larsson put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Stefan Esbjörnsson. Andreas Melander charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Melander the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute, Andreas Melander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joga Bonito FC's Axel Mickelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andreas Falkrans struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Per-Olof Kling didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joga Bonito FC. In the 26th minute, Emanuel Larsson made a precise shot to the right of Stefan Esbjörnsson. Joga Bonito FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Andreas Falkrans scored 3-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Per-Olof Kling, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 34 minutes, Patrik Mårtensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ersmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrik Mårtensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stefan Esbjörnsson had great luck who in the 40thth minute grab hold of the ball when Patrik Mårtensson from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Emanuel Larsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Esbjörnsson having to interfere. Stefan Esbjörnsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emanuel Larsson in the 45th minute. Emanuel Larsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Patrik Mårtensson made a kick off. Per-Olof Kling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andreas Falkrans, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Falkrans in the 58th minute of play forced Ersmark's goalkeeper Per-Olof Kling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stefan Esbjörnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Mårtensson in the 61st minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Ersmark's goalkeeper Per-Olof Kling had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robin Larsson. Per-Olof Kling made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Robin Larsson sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the match, Joga Bonito FC's Andreas Falkrans sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Per-Olof Kling narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ersmark's Emanuel Larsson got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Joga Bonito FC defense, Patrik Mårtensson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Esbjörnsson. The Joga Bonito FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Esbjörnsson should have stopped the shot. After having played for 83 minutes, Patrik Mårtensson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ersmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrik Mårtensson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Joga Bonito FC's Axel Mickelsson got a free kick in the 84th minute. Stefan Esbjörnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Mårtensson in the 85th minute of the match. Joga Bonito FC's Stefan Esbjörnsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Mårtensson in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Emanuel Larsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Robin Larsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joga Bonito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Robin Larsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Olof Kling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Ingvar Busk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrik Mårtensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stefan Esbjörnsson having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Joga Bonito FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ersmark.
