After 10 minutes, Östen Gunnarsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ersmark and the Hamndalens FF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hamndalens FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Haegg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Albin Ekeroth kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Per-Olof Kling. That made the score 1-1 in the 24 minute of play.
