The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jan Kiempe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Christoffer Abelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manlig Idrott Fädrens arf's goalkeeper Leif Abrahamsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Manlig Idrott Fädrens arf booed when Frassekungar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gottfrid Lindberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Charlie Carlsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Kiempe in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christoffer Abelsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christoffer Abelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Kiempe in the 21st minute of play. Herbert Karlsson kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stellan Öberg in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leif Abrahamsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jan-Åke Möllgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 36 minutes, Christoffer Abelsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gottfrid Lindberg hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Ove Gulliksson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christoffer Abelsson. Frassekungar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Charlie Carlsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Frassekungar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charlie Carlsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jan Kiempe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Frassekungar's Esbjörn Smefeldt got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Jan Kiempe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christoffer Abelsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christoffer Abelsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Åke Möllgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Jan Kiempe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christoffer Abelsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charlie Carlsson got free with Leif Abrahamsson in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 72ndth minute of the game Jan Kiempe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Frassekungar's Christoffer Abelsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Christoffer Abelsson came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Manlig Idrott Fädrens arf's Jan-Åke Möllgren. But to his dismay, Jan-Åke Möllgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Jan Kiempe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Abelsson having to interfere. Christoffer Abelsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Åke Möllgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stellan Öberg in the 87th minute of play forced Manlig Idrott Fädrens arf's goalkeeper Leif Abrahamsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by Manlig Idrott Fädrens arf's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Johan Hasselqvist was slow to take the kick. During this time Frassekungar's players had a chance to rest. Henrik Liljeström tried in the game's 89th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Leif Abrahamsson. An annoying self made goal, 2-1. Christoffer Abelsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herbert Karlsson in the 94th minute of play. Jan-Åke Möllgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christoffer Abelsson having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Jan Kiempe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christoffer Abelsson was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Manlig Idrott Fädrens arf had won after a very even match.
