An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Erik Olsson in the 22nd minute of play forced Blentarp's goalkeeper Alvin Söderkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filip Igelström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristoffer Sjödin having to interfere. If Arne Olsman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, one of Blentarp:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Blentarp. The Blentarp players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mertinho were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arne Olsman to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Arne Olsman could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Alvin Söderkvist however easily saved by the left post. Mertinho's Arne Björkkvist got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alvin Söderkvist didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Mertinho's Arne Björkkvist shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. 72 minutes into the match, Arne Olsman notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Blentarp's Alvin Söderkvist.
