In the 2nd match minute, Kangos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sune Wahlnäs to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Kangos booed when Väring was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torsten Hake didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Paulin's late challenge caught a Väring's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markus Stenström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Börge Martinsson went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Markus Stenström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Brandin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Börge Martinsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Väring's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börge Martinsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Markus Stenström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Börge Martinsson in the 29th minute of the match. Sigvard Skarkman's late challenge caught a Väring's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kangos's Tor Bjursell got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Väring's Tobias Vall got a free kick in the 35th minute. Tobias Vall kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Börge Martinsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Markus Stenström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Kangos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Väring were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edward Svanér stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 52 in the game by Börge Martinsson from a close distance when the talented Markus Stenström managed to make a qualified save. Kangos's players were relieved. Börge Martinsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ralf Elg hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Albert Brandin struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Markus Stenström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Väring. With his leg Markus Stenström managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Väring's Börge Martinsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 84th match minute, Väring was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ralf Elg to maneuver through the defense. Väring's supporters rose to their feet, but Albert Brandin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markus Stenström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle sounded Väring left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Kangos.
