Göran Albom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casper Haraldsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Teckomatorp's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig Berglund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Nils-Åke Norström charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nils-Åke Norström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nils-Åke Norström kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Peter Caspersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Teckomatorp's Casper Haraldsson in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Göran Albom came out of the goal and Peter Caspersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter Caspersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Bergkvara's goal looked a bit too open when Casper Haraldsson came free, but Göran Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peter Caspersson struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Göran Albom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Teckomatorp. Peter Caspersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Albom having to interfere. The supporters of Teckomatorp booed when Bergkvara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Svante Björling didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Peter Caspersson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teckomatorp's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Caspersson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göran Albom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 48 minutes, Svante Björling mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bergkvara and the Teckomatorp players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th match minute, Bergkvara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Svante Björling to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The wind increased when Patrik Mårtensson made the kick off in the second half. Stig Berglund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Robin Rosen made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Teckomatorp's Evert Jönsson got a free kick in the 61st minute. If Patrik Mårtensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teckomatorp's Robin Rosen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Mårtensson in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Peter Caspersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teckomatorp's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Caspersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Göran Albom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Caspersson's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Patrik Mårtensson might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robin Rosen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Patrik Mårtensson ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Teckomatorp getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Olov Wickander hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Patrik Mårtensson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Teckomatorp's Sven-Arne Svanberg got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute, Kristian Engman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Stig Berglund came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Bergkvara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig Berglund couldn't finish the play. Patrik Mårtensson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Rosen having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bergkvara had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
