In the 9th minute, Folke Östlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 10th minute of the match Kjell-Arne Tunberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Malcolm Tolsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When John Linberg fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored j0ddlarna BK's protests and gave John Linberg a yellow card for diving instead. John Linberg hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Kjell-Arne Tunberg kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Viggo Wennerqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, j0ddlarna BK's Ture Browall got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Viggo Wennerqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Malcolm Tolsson was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. In the 34th minute, Viggo Wennerqvist fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Malcolm Tolsson, passed just outside the right post. 36 minutes into the match, Viggo Wennerqvist dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Malcolm Tolsson, 1-0. Malcolm Tolsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viggo Wennerqvist in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viggo Wennerqvist made a kick off. Bernt Ersman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to j0ddlarna BK getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Richard Lundin hit a great ball. Malcolm Tolsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Wennerqvist in the 64th minute of the match. Bernt Ersman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Viggo Wennerqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 67th minute, Ture Browall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viggo Wennerqvist struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Malcolm Tolsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Newcastle Gotland. Malcolm Tolsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernt Ersman in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viggo Wennerqvist in the 71st minute of play forced j0ddlarna BK's goalkeeper Malcolm Tolsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Bernt Ersman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl-Åke Busk charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Karl-Åke Busk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st match minute, Newcastle Gotland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Åke Busk to maneuver through the defense. After 87 played minutes j0ddlarna BK got a freekick which was hit by Ture Browall. 93 minutes into the game, Isaac Stigsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl-Erik Mattsson. Isaac Stigsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Newcastle Gotland's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
