Kent Skålberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertil Fransson in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Garnäs BK's goalkeeper Kent Skålberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bertil Fransson. If Bertil Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Olle Svensson fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Kent Skålberg, passed just outside the right post. 15 minutes into the game, Västra Gärde FF's Bertil Fransson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kent Skålberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Olle Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bertil Fransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Skålberg having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Olle Svensson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kent Skålberg was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. George Telin kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game Matthias Duset kicked a great long shot which passed Kent Skålberg straight ahead into the goal, Result 2-0. One couldn't see Matthias Duset behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Garnäs BK's Kent Skålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertil Fransson in the 28th minute of play. Bertil Fransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kent Skålberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olle Svensson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 36 minutes, Bertil Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Västra Gärde FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bertil Fransson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bertil Fransson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Kent Skålberg made a huge save. Bertil Fransson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olle Svensson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olle Svensson was the one to do the kick off. Bertil Fransson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Garnäs BK's Kent Skålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olle Svensson in the 58th minute of play. Folke Hedbom kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Garnäs BK's goal looked a bit too open when Bertil Fransson came free, but Kent Skålberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wiktor Vallmark's late challenge caught a Garnäs BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wiktor Vallmark helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Wiktor Vallmark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertil Fransson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute Viggo Kvick suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. 69 minutes into the game, Frank Örn was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Västra Gärde FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garnäs BK the free kick. Kent Skålberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertil Fransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute Olle Svensson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Skålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Esbjörn Deckberg during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Esbjörn Deckberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 79 minutes into the game, Mikael Svensson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kent Skålberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 84th minute Bertil Fransson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Skålberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Bertil Fransson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Västra Gärde FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Bertil Fransson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kent Skålberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kent Skålberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olle Svensson went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Garnäs BK's Kent Skålberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olle Svensson in the 94th minute of play.
