In the 9th minute Albin Ståhlman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leif Mellberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albin Ståhlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Mellberg having to interfere. Leif Mellberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niclas Kullgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Magnus Stenström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tengil FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Asmundtorp BK the free kick. In the 16th minute, Magnus Stenström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albin Ståhlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leif Mellberg having to interfere. Tengil FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Boris Johnsson scored to the left of an out of position Sonny Alebeck, making the score, 1-0. Asmundtorp BK's Leif Mellberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Ståhlman in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niclas Kullgren in the 28th minute of play forced Asmundtorp BK's goalkeeper Leif Mellberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Sonny Alebeck managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Asmundtorp BK's Michel Persson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Magnus Stenström was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Tengil FC's Magnus Stenström got a free kick in the 38th minute. Tengil FC's Albin Ståhlman got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Boris Johnsson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albin Ståhlman to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Asmundtorp BK's Boris Johnsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sonny Alebeck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a little luck, Asmundtorp BK's Leif Mellberg got control of the ball when Albin Ståhlman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 60th minute, Karl-Michael Hermansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albin Ståhlman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leif Mellberg firmly grabbed it by the left post. Boris Johnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tengil FC's Sonny Alebeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Johnsson in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Michel Persson made a precise shot to the right of Sonny Alebeck. Tengil FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boris Johnsson in the 83rd minute of play forced Tengil FC's goalkeeper Sonny Alebeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albin Ståhlman might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leif Mellberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albin Ståhlman ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 92nd minute, Morgan Lang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Asmundtorp BK's Bernt Bolin tried to score from far away in the 93rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 95 minutes into the match, Tengil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Persson came free, but Sonny Alebeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asmundtorp BK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tengil FC for a fine match.
