Landvetter's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool FC the free kick. Andreas Söderberg kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Sven-Ove Gallberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Landvetter booed when Liverpool FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Börge Bollström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jens-Ove Åström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilgot Granström, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vilgot Granström was the one to do the kick off.
