Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Krister Lägdin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Oskar Åhman in the 4th minute of play. Krister Lägdin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eric Fågel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Viggo Ekblom in the 14th minute of play forced Landvetter's goalkeeper Jens-Ove Åström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tor Lindqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Grundsund's Viggo Ekblom in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Landvetter's goalie prevented a goal. In the 22nd minute Viggo Ekblom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ove Åström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Sven-Ove Gallberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landvetter's supporters rose to their feet, but Sven-Ove Gallberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Krister Lägdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grundsund's Viggo Ekblom got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jens-Ove Åström stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viggo Ekblom's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Jens-Ove Åström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viggo Ekblom in the 32nd minute of play. Jens-Ove Åström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor Lindqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tor Lindqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Åström having to interfere. Tor Lindqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Viggo Ekblom to make the kick off. Tor Lindqvist was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 52nd minute. Grundsund's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 52nd minute, Tor Lindqvist made a precise shot to the right of Jens-Ove Åström. Landvetter's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Landvetter:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Grundsund:s goal. Jens-Ove Åström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viggo Ekblom in the 64th minute of the match. If Tor Lindqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Landvetter's Jens-Ove Åström got control of the ball when Tor Lindqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tor Lindqvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Jens-Ove Åström skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Sven-Ove Gallberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Viggo Ekblom reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jens-Ove Åström. The goal made the score 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Grundsund's Viggo Ekblom slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jens-Ove Åström. That made the score 0-3 after 85 minutes of play. Landvetter's Jens-Ove Åström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Landvetter from getting a goal against them. Axel Bammerman kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Viggo Ekblom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the match, Grundsund's Tor Lindqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jens-Ove Åström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Grundsund's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
