Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Leif Clementsson started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 2nd match minute, Torpshammar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Strömqvist to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leif Clementsson in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Birger Brandin saved Åmål from getting behind. 8 minutes into the match, Torpshammar's goal looked a bit too open when Ola Backman came free, but Rickard Biörk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 12 minutes, Ola Backman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Åmål's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ola Backman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Birger Brandin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leif Clementsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Birger Brandin managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Torpshammar's Eskil Gallberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With an all-out effort, Torpshammar's Birger Brandin threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Leif Clementsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leif Clementsson hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Ola Backman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickard Biörk having to interfere. Bengt-Arne Åman took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rickard Biörk. Rickard Biörk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Birger Brandin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eskil Gallberg in the 61st minute of the match.
