After 24 minutes of play Kinnarp IF's Michael Nordström was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Michael Nordström kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Eskil Gallberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kurt Telin having to interfere. The supporters of Torpshammar booed when Kinnarp IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oliver Eklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torpshammar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Clementsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After having played for 55 minutes, Leif Clementsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After 56 minutes, Christer Hammarbäck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kinnarp IF and the Torpshammar players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Patrick Ekeberg sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Kinnarp IF's Kurt Telin didn't even have to move. Kurt Telin was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Leif Clementsson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Leif Clementsson really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Eskil Gallberg succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 70th playminute. The long shot by Patrick Ekeberg in the 89th minute really tested Kurt Telin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
