Benbrott BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rundvik the free kick. Victor Ekström hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Fred Holmstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Benbrott BK booed when Rundvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fred Holmstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benbrott BK's Ivan Täman couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rundvik. In the 12th minute, Christer Lindqvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nils-Emil Sjödin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stig Koch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Nils-Emil Sjödin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig Koch came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Benbrott BK's Christer Lindqvist. But to his dismay, Christer Lindqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Börje Kvick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Karl Pedersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Börje Kvick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benbrott BK's Karl Pedersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Benbrott BK from getting a goal against them. Christer Lindqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stig Koch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Alfred Lundgren charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfred Lundgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfred Lundgren hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Christer Lindqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stig Koch having to interfere. Nils-Emil Sjödin scored 0-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stig Koch, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Börje Kvick who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Karl Pedersson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Benbrott BK's Victor Ekström got a free kick in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 52nd match minute, Rundvik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erland Trulsson to maneuver through the defense. Sven-Åke Dalberg charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Åke Dalberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 58 minutes into the match, Benbrott BK's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Kvick came free, but Karl Pedersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rundvik's goalkeeper Stig Koch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jonas Hedbom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nils-Emil Sjödin struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Stig Koch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benbrott BK. When Rundvik's Jonas Hedbom in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Benbrott BK's goalie prevented a goal. Benbrott BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils-Emil Sjödin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Rundvik's goal looked a bit too open when Christer Lindqvist came free, but Stig Koch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Benbrott BK's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Kvick came free, but Karl Pedersson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Pedersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Hedbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Benbrott BK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
