Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jan Bergqvist made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, Götene's Jonas Hammarström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isaac Sjögren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Bertil Smed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Bokelund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonas Hammarström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Isaac Sjögren. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Jonas Hammarström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Sjögren having to interfere. In the 22ndth minute of the game Evert Hammarberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Götene's Bertil Smed was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lenhovda's Isaac Sjögren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Bergqvist in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Bergqvist in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isaac Sjögren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bengt-Rune Sjöberg kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Isaac Sjögren acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Johannes Öberg. Jonas Hammarström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Sjögren having to interfere. Bernt Bokelund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Bertil Smed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Evert Hammarberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Olof Törnkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

55 minutes in the game, Jonas Hammarström dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Evert Hammarberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernt Bokelund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertil Smed having to interfere. The supporters of Lenhovda booed when Götene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Otto Wennerström didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lenhovda's Evert Hammarberg in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Götene's goalie prevented a goal. When Bernt Bokelund, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 72 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bertil Smed was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Bernt Bokelunds short, quick shot in the 74thth minute got Bertil Smed to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jan Bergqvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isaac Sjögren having to make a save. Bertil Smed didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 94th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Bernt Bokelund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bertil Smed read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. The Lenhovda players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
