Bråbo IK's Kenny Snäll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Ström in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bråbo IK's zone, Andy Ström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kenny Snäll came out of the goal and Andy Ström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andy Ström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12thth minute of the game Marcus Henriksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bråbo IK's Kenny Snäll was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 14 minutes of play, Romelanda's Andy Ström made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kenny Snäll was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frank Biörkquist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Joacim Skräddare recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Romelanda's Jimmy Runeberg got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The wind increased when Frank Biörkquist made the kick off in the second half. The corner ended in Sivert Hermansson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Romelanda's Jan-Erik Pettersson did a great save. If Frank Biörkquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Henriksson in the 64th minute of play forced Bråbo IK's goalkeeper Kenny Snäll to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Marcus Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Romelanda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Henriksson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Bråbo IK's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Henriksson came free, but Kenny Snäll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Bråbo IK booed when Romelanda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Ove Engström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Frank Biörkquist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee showed Sven-Ove Engström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
