In the 13th minute, one of Bromma IFK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bromma IFK. Sven Olofsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Wallin in the 19th minute of play. When Bromma IFK's Mark Wallin in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 32nd minute David Kollberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Olofsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mark Wallin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Martin Stigsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Peder Sjödin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils Wallman, 42 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mark Wallin was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Bromma IFK's Ture Norberg got a free kick in the 51st minute. Sven Olofsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Kollberg in the 53rd minute. Sven Olofsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Wallin's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Jonas Ekman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Blom in the 60th minute of play. Torsten Axelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Ekman having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, David Kollberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bromma IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but David Kollberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Olofsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Klimpfjäll RK booed when Bromma IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ture Norberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Bromma IFK's goalkeeper Jonas Ekman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Kollberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sven Olofsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Wallin in the 81st minute of play forced Klimpfjäll RK's goalkeeper Sven Olofsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Klimpfjäll RK's Sven Olofsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Wallin in the 83rd minute of play. After having played for 85 minutes, Marko Blom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Klimpfjäll RK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marko Blom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an all-out effort, Bromma IFK's Sven Olofsson threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mark Wallin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 92nd minute, Sture Bergfelt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marko Blom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Ekman having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bromma IFK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Klimpfjäll RK.
