Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Calle Sander got the match started through his kick off. When Calle Sander came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Nydala IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Calle Sander couldn't finish the play. Nydala IF's Evert Forssberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Nydala IF from getting a goal against them. Joar Njurenius kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Evert Forssberg was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ralf Rosin. Orvar Vallman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan-Erik Kruuse having to interfere. Calle Sander scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Erik Kruuse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nydala IF's Calle Sander got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calle Sander scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jan-Erik Kruuse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ekerö's Per Isaksson couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nydala IF. If Calle Sander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulf Jespersson was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Per Isaksson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ekerö's supporters rose to their feet, but Per Isaksson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert Forssberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute Per Isaksson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evert Forssberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calle Sander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jan-Erik Kruuse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 71 minutes, Calle Sander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nydala IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calle Sander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ekerö getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ernst Nordstedt hit a great ball. Evert Forssberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulf Jespersson in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Nydala IF's goal looked a bit too open when Per Isaksson came free, but Evert Forssberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Calle Sander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nydala IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Calle Sander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evert Forssberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Isaksson in the 88th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Calle Sander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan-Erik Kruuse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Nydala IF players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
