In the 5th match minute, Kvissleby IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Dahlqvist to maneuver through the defense. Rune Kinnman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Brummer's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Ingvar Brummer sped through Ulricehamn's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rune Kinnman. In the 14th match minute, Kvissleby IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Dahlqvist to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredric Forsberg in the 15th minute of play forced Kvissleby IK's goalkeeper Hans Smitt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Reine Galle had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hans Smitt. Kvissleby IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reine Galle was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Fredric Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute Joachim Lindman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Smitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute, Kvissleby IK's Edward Dahlqvist seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Edward Dahlqvist the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kvissleby IK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Edward Dahlqvist had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 33 minutes into the game, one of Kvissleby IK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ingvar Brummer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Rune Kinnman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Fredric Lund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hans Smitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredric Forsberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kvissleby IK's Hans Smitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fredric Forsberg in the 43rd minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Brummer made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Fredric Lund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 52 minutes into the match, Ulricehamn's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Brummer came free, but Rune Kinnman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Kvissleby IK's goalkeeper Hans Smitt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredric Forsberg. In the 59th minute, Fredric Lund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rune Kinnman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 63 minutes, Måns Berggren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kvissleby IK and the Ulricehamn players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Kvissleby IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Måns Berggren to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingvar Brummer in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rune Kinnman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 84 minutes into the match, Daniel Söderström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hans Smitt. Kvissleby IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Söderström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Joseph Åkesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fredric Lund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rune Kinnman having to interfere. After 96 played minutes Kvissleby IK got a freekick which was hit by Måns Berggren. Ulricehamn's Stefan Alegren couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 97th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Kvissleby IK.
