Alfred Melander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Isac Runberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Motala's goal looked a bit too open when Fredrik Lindman came free, but Sven-Arne Strömberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Motala's Sven-Arne Strömberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars-Erik Ahlrot in the 11th minute of play. If Fredrik Lindman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anders Sundén kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Maximilian Drake fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 39th minute, Sören Bergendahl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Per-Åke Billing, 40 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Fredrik Lindman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Arne Strömberg having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximilian Drake stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Motala's Sven-Arne Strömberg got control of the ball when Fredrik Lindman tried to sneak it across the goal line.
