Bruzaholm's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tor Bergdal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Arvid Odman kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The supporters of Magmusklerna booed when Bruzaholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dick Vedholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Börge Håkansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmie Christoffersson in the 14th minute of play. Bruzaholm's Börge Håkansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmie Christoffersson in the 18th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Bruzaholm got a freekick which was hit by Dick Vedholm. Magmusklerna's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Kennet Hallgren scored to the left of an out of position Erik Myr, making the score, 1-1. Börge Håkansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimmie Christoffersson in the 30th minute of the match. Erik Myr was a little too slow when Dick Vedholm got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 2-1. Karl-Magnus Ros lost his temper 37 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 37th minute, one of Bruzaholm:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bruzaholm. Börge Håkansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fritz Engman, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Börge Håkansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jimmie Christoffersson in the 47th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jimmie Christoffersson to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Jimmie Christoffersson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Börge Håkansson. That made the score 2-3 in the 52 minute of play. When Magmusklerna's Jimmie Christoffersson in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bruzaholm's goalie prevented a goal. Tor Bergdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bruzaholm getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Arvid Odman hit a great ball. Jimmie Christoffersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Börge Håkansson made a huge save. In the 73rd minute Eric Målare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Myr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Börge Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimmie Christoffersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 minutes, Kennet Hallgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bruzaholm and the Magmusklerna players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th minute, one of Bruzaholm:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bruzaholm. 84 minutes into the match, Bruzaholm's goalkeeper Börge Håkansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tor Bergdal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tor Bergdal got free with Börge Håkansson in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruzaholm's Börge Håkansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimmie Christoffersson in the 93rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jimmie Christoffersson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Börge Håkansson. That made the score 2-5 in the 97 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Magmusklerna left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bruzaholm.
