Harry Aspengren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harald Hansson's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. With a little luck, Fors BK's Harry Aspengren got control of the ball when Karl Ålberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Harald Hansson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Harry Aspengren. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. A hard shot 16 in the game by Karl Ålberg from a close distance when the talented Harry Aspengren managed to make a qualified save. Fors BK's players were relieved. In the 18th minute, Anton Näfver fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Hansson in the 21st minute of play forced Fors BK's goalkeeper Harry Aspengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl Ålberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Harry Aspengren made a huge save. In the 26th match minute, Fors BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Engström to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Fors BK getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Mark Rönn hit a great ball. Fors BK's Harry Aspengren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Fors BK from getting a goal against them. Harry Aspengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald Hansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 minutes, Karl Ålberg made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fors BK's Harry Aspengren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fors BK's goalkeeper Harry Aspengren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Harald Hansson to strike the kick off in the second half. Karl-Ove Viklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Karl-Ove Linberg kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Örnsköldsvik's Karl-Ove Linberg got a free kick in the 57th minute. Jens-Ove Klack acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 58th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jörgen Wallin. 61 minutes into the match, Fors BK's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Ålberg came free, but Harry Aspengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl Ålberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Harald Hansson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Harry Aspengren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Karl Ålberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Harry Aspengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Fors BK's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Hansson came free, but Harry Aspengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harry Aspengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Ålberg in the 98th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fors BK's zone, Karl Ålberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Harry Aspengren came out of the goal and Karl Ålberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Örnsköldsvik were the better team. Örnsköldsvik's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
