Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rdth minute of the game Tomas Bengtsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Långaryd's Sven-Erik Svartengren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sven-Erik Svartengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Pedersson in the 4th minute of play. Pär Göransson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Sven-Erik Svartengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tomas Bengtsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Freddie Pedersson struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Sven-Erik Svartengren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Örby. Mikael Tolsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Fred Linquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, IFK Örby's goal looked a bit too open when Jon Odeen came free, but Fred Linquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikael Tolsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Bengtsson hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute of the match Långaryd got a corner. IFK Örby's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Peder Nyqvist ran over to the corner to take the kick. 42 minutes into the match, Långaryd's Mikael Tolsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fred Linquist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jon Odeen scored 0-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fred Linquist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fred Linquist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Arne Alkvist in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Långaryd were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Fred Linquist didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 54th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Mikael Tolsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Linquist having to interfere. Mikael Tolsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Freddie Pedersson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 79th minute Jon Odeen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Linquist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fred Linquist made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Mikael Tolsson sent off a good shot on target. After 88 minutes of play, Långaryd's Jon Odeen made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fred Linquist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Långaryd's Jon Odeen got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Långaryd walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
