Ragnar Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morgan Svanér in the 4th minute of the match. When Ludwig Tunström fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tännäs's protests and gave Ludwig Tunström a yellow card for diving instead. Ludwig Tunström hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Malte Gudmundsson during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Tännäs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malte Gudmundsson to maneuver through the defense. Måns Tillman acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 10th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Fred Pihlgren. If Torbjörn Mellin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Torbjörn Mellin notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vankiva's Ragnar Lundqvist. Ragnar Lundqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Tännäs's zone, Tomas Lööf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Måns Tillman came out of the goal and Tomas Lööf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Tännäs getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Bengt-Arne Stenquist hit a great ball. Tomas Lööf struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Måns Tillman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vankiva. Tomas Lööf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Måns Tillman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ragnar Lundqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Torbjörn Mellin's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. After a rather tough play, Vankiva's Alfons Bäcklin got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Morgan Svanér struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Ragnar Lundqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tännäs. Morgan Svanér's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ragnar Lundqvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Morgan Svanér took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ragnar Lundqvist. Ragnar Lundqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a little luck, Tännäs's Måns Tillman got control of the ball when Tomas Lööf tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
Filip Bållström might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Måns Tillman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Bållström ran back to his position shaking his head. Torbjörn Mellin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Lööf struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Måns Tillman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vankiva. If Morgan Svanér had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Torbjörn Mellin fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Tännäs's Måns Tillman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Bållström in the 79th minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, Morgan Svanér dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ragnar Lundqvist, 0-3. In the 89th minute, Vincent Lindgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vankiva's Tomas Lööf got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Vankiva supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tännäs's performance. The match ended with a win for Tännäs.
