Måns Tillman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stig Linquist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Asarum BF fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Asarum BF's Stig Linquist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Stig Linquist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kevin Wenerdahl kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Bengt-Arne Stenquist charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience was convinced that Jörgen Haraldsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Måns Tillman was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, Jörgen Haraldsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Måns Tillman. Asarum BF's Kenneth Sander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Morgan Svanér in the 27th minute of play. Måns Tillman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jörgen Haraldsson's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Jörgen Haraldsson notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Tännäs's Måns Tillman. Måns Tillman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Stig Linquist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Måns Tillman having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Tännäs's Torbjörn Mellin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kenneth Sander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Stig Linquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Måns Tillman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kenneth Sander stood somewhat misplaced when Torbjörn Mellin came free in front of goal and shot 1-4 to the left of him in the 46 minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jörgen Haraldsson to make the kick off. Torbjörn Mellin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Torbjörn Mellin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stig Linquist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tännäs's goalkeeper Måns Tillman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Stig Linquist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Asarum BF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Asarum BF's goalkeeper Kenneth Sander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 77 minutes, Jörgen Haraldsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asarum BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jörgen Haraldsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Morgan Svanér sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kenneth Sander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morgan Svanér, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Malte Gudmundsson kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Tännäs booed when Asarum BF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Åke Kellman didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Morgan Svanér in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kenneth Sander saved Asarum BF from getting behind. When the match was over Asarum BF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tännäs throughout the match.
