Isak Lindberg charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a rather tough play, IFK Chelsea's Isak Lindberg got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Max Apelqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bo-Erik Josefsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Christer Wästerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sunhultsbrunn RK's goalkeeper Christer Wästerberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Christer Wästerberg managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when IFK Chelsea's Bo-Erik Josefsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Max Apelqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christer Wästerberg having to interfere. Max Apelqvist did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Christer Wästerberg 36 minutes into the match. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 40th minute, but Christer Wästerberg got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Sunhultsbrunn RK hanging dry this time. Hans Melin kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When Hans Melin fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sunhultsbrunn RK's protests and gave Hans Melin a yellow card for diving instead. Hans Melin hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Wiktor Helström sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sunhultsbrunn RK's Christer Wästerberg didn't even have to move. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sunhultsbrunn RK's goalkeeper Christer Wästerberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Max Apelqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. When Leo Eklund fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sunhultsbrunn RK's protests and gave Leo Eklund a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Leo Eklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, IFK Chelsea's Wiktor Helström tried to score from far away in the 53rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Max Apelqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Christer Wästerberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Sunhultsbrunn RK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hans Melin to maneuver through the defense. Thomas Uggstedt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henning Pååk having to interfere. IFK Chelsea's Max Apelqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Max Apelqvist cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Christer Wästerberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd match minute, IFK Chelsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvard Asklöv to maneuver through the defense. Sunhultsbrunn RK's Christer Wästerberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo-Erik Josefsson in the 75th minute of play. After 75 minutes, Roger Stålberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sunhultsbrunn RK and the IFK Chelsea players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roger Stålberg hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Max Apelqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Sunhultsbrunn RK's goal looked a bit too open when Max Apelqvist came free, but Christer Wästerberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Max Apelqvist in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christer Wästerberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 92 minutes, Bo-Erik Josefsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IFK Chelsea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bo-Erik Josefsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bo-Erik Josefsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sunhultsbrunn RK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
