Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After 3 minutes of play, IFK Chelsea's Max Apelqvist made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jens Danielsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 8 minutes, Henric Petersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rottne IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henric Petersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. IFK Chelsea's Henning Pååk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henric Petersson in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to IFK Chelsea getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Edvard Asklöv hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the game, Edvard Asklöv was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. IFK Chelsea's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rottne IF the free kick. In the 21st match minute, IFK Chelsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvard Asklöv to maneuver through the defense. Ingvar Skytts short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Henning Pååk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Max Apelqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henric Petersson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Henning Pååk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Henric Petersson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rottne IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jens Danielsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Apelqvist in the 46th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Edvard Asklöv kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Rottne IF's Henric Petersson got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ingvar Skytt came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Rottne IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingvar Skytt couldn't finish the play. Rottne IF's Ingvar Skytt got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jens Danielsson was a little too slow when Max Apelqvist got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 1-2. If Max Apelqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Rottne IF's goalkeeper Jens Danielsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Max Apelqvist. Bo-Erik Josefsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 78th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jens Danielsson could save by the left post. Jan-Olof Ambjörnsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Bo-Erik Josefsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. IFK Chelsea's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo-Erik Josefsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jens Danielsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Max Apelqvist struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Jens Danielsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IFK Chelsea. Henric Petersson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henning Pååk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched IFK Chelsea eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
