Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Myggenäs IFK's Bo-Erik Ferm started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jens-Åke Almqvist hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Kättilstorp BK's goalkeeper Robert Olsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Johan Lindgren. After some careless play in the Myggenäs IFK defense, Egil Ingvall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pär Thidén. The Myggenäs IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pär Thidén should have stopped the shot. If Karl-Johan Lindgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the match, Karl-Johan Lindgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robert Olsson. Kättilstorp BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Johan Lindgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 39 played minutes Bo-Erik Ferm rounded Kättilstorp BK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Bo-Erik Ferm struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Robert Olsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Myggenäs IFK. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gösta Sefastsson made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, Myggenäs IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Åke Almqvist to maneuver through the defense. When Kättilstorp BK's Gösta Sefastsson in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee showed Sven-Åke Springfält the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd minute, Sven-Åke Springfält hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Per Vestberg in the 64th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Pär Thidén's left hand side. Gösta Sefastsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Kättilstorp BK's goal looked a bit too open when Bo-Erik Ferm came free, but Robert Olsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Karl-Johan Lindgren came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Myggenäs IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Johan Lindgren couldn't finish the play. Kättilstorp BK's Per Vestberg got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Egil Ingvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pär Thidén having to interfere. Karl-Johan Lindgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Bo-Erik Ferm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Olsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Johan Lindgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Olsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Johan Lindgren in the 93rd minute of the match. Per Vestberg charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Per Vestberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bo-Erik Ferm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
