In the 2nd match minute, Boda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alf Siöberg to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Myggenäs IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Ingemar Melberg came free, but Pär Thidén reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Johan Lindgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Martinsson having to interfere. Bo-Erik Ferm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ingemar Melberg in the 21st minute of play forced Myggenäs IFK's goalkeeper Pär Thidén to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Myggenäs IFK booed when Boda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernst Malmström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bo-Erik Ferm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 minutes of play, Myggenäs IFK's Bo-Erik Ferm made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boda's Alexander Martinsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Boda from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Myggenäs IFK's Kevin Stenquist got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 56 played minutes Myggenäs IFK got a freekick which was hit by Jens-Åke Almqvist. Karl-Johan Lindgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alexander Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pär Thidén made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Pettersson in the 61st minute of play. After 63 minutes of play, Boda's Ingemar Melberg made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pär Thidén was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ingemar Melberg fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boda's protests and gave Ingemar Melberg a yellow card for diving instead. 71 minutes into the match, Boda's goal looked a bit too open when Bo-Erik Ferm came free, but Alexander Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alf Siöberg charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alf Siöberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alf Siöberg hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the game, Sven-Åke Springfält was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Myggenäs IFK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boda the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Myggenäs IFK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! Pär Thidén had in the 78thth minute some difficulties stopping Ernst Malmström's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Boda's Alexander Martinsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Boda from getting a goal against them. When Boda's Martin Pettersson in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Myggenäs IFK's goalie prevented a goal. If Ingemar Melberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes Myggenäs IFK got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Kullgren. Boda's Martin Pettersson got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Martin Pettersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
