With an all-out effort, Boda's Robert Olsson threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ingemar Melberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jens-Erik Åström during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Kättilstorp BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Ingemar Melberg scored to the left of an out of position Robert Olsson, making the score, 1-0. Gösta Sefastsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Alexander Martinsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kättilstorp BK's Egil Ingvall got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes into the game, Gösta Sefastsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Alexander Martinsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Kättilstorp BK's zone, Ingemar Melberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Olsson came out of the goal and Ingemar Melberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ingemar Melberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Robert Olsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Martin Pettersson came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Boda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin Pettersson couldn't finish the play. Ingemar Melberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Olsson having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gösta Sefastsson to strike the kick off in the second half. A beautiful save bye Kättilstorp BK's goalie prevented a goal. Vilhelm Bergqvist charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vilhelm Bergqvist the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Egil Ingvall in the 56thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alexander Martinsson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Ingemar Melberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kättilstorp BK's Robert Olsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Pettersson in the 60th minute of play. Alexander Martinsson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gösta Sefastsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 62 minute of play. In the 65th minute, Martin Pettersson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Olsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Robert Olsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vilhelm Bergqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Boda's Ingemar Melberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Olsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 80th match minute, Kättilstorp BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Erik Åström to maneuver through the defense. Ernst Malmström, 81 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Ingemar Melberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ingemar Melberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ingemar Melberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martin Pettersson might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Olsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Martin Pettersson ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee ended the match the Boda players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
