Patrik Gregersson started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Arne Fredriksson got free with Harrie Hengst in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Patrik Gregersson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mårten Bratt might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolf Löfdahl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mårten Bratt ran back to his position shaking his head. Sven-Arne Fredriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In a very dangerous position, a player in Oooohh Janne Janne fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Dala-Järna. Valdemar Bohlin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Harrie Hengst. 1-0. Staffan Wennerquist struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Rolf Löfdahl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oooohh Janne Janne. Andreas Johansson kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Oooohh Janne Janne's Harrie Hengst got control of the ball when Sven-Arne Fredriksson tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Oooohh Janne Janne getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Mårten Bratt hit a great ball. If Patrik Gregersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Valdemar Bohlin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dala-Järna's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdemar Bohlin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Harrie Hengst breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 34 minutes into the match, Oooohh Janne Janne's goalkeeper Harrie Hengst had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sven-Arne Fredriksson. Harrie Hengst was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Patrik Gregersson capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Patrik Gregersson really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Harrie Hengst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Gregersson, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Einar Stenkvist made the kick off in the second half. If Axel Fransson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th match minute, Dala-Järna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolf Kalfhage to maneuver through the defense. Reine Stor charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reine Stor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 58 minutes into the game, one of Dala-Järna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dala-Järna's Rolf Löfdahl proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Dala-Järna from getting a goal against them. Staffan Wennerquist kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes, Dala-Järna's Valdemar Bohlin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Harrie Hengst came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dala-Järna reached it. Sven-Arne Fredriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Axel Fransson might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolf Löfdahl. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
