After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Jens-Ove Vidman managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Marvels's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Ove Vidman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henning Vollander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 9 minutes into the game, The Marvels's Jens-Ove Vidman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sören Åberg kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Sävsjö's Knut Ekström broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Max Klack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes Sävsjö got a freekick which was hit by Christian Örnberg. Henning Vollander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Max Klack in the 23rd minute of the match. The Marvels's Tobias Karlsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Örnberg in the 26th minute of play. When Sävsjö's Tage Godholm in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Örnberg in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Karlsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christian Örnberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Tobias Karlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Marvels's Tobias Karlsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save The Marvels from getting a goal against them. Henning Vollander didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Marvels. A collision led to Sävsjö getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Filiph Olsson hit a great ball. Anders Mellin's late challenge caught a Sävsjö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anders Mellin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, The Marvels's Anders Mellin got a free kick in the 96th minute. After 98 played minutes, Sävsjö's Kjell Trulsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tobias Karlsson came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sävsjö reached it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
