Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Sävsjö BF's Rudolf Ivarsson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute, Stefan Arvidsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Sävsjö BF's Rudolf Ivarsson in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manchester UTD's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sävsjö BF's zone, Måns Ingvall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt Lövkvist came out of the goal and Måns Ingvall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabian Askstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rudolf Ivarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jens-Ola Askelöf came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Sävsjö BF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Ola Askelöf couldn't finish the play. In the 38th minute, Thomas Jakobsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bengt Lövkvist acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kent Albom. Fabian Askstedt came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Sävsjö BF's Rudolf Ivarsson. But to his dismay, Rudolf Ivarsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Manchester UTD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sävsjö BF were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Roland Damm made the kick off in the second half. Måns Ingvall took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bengt Lövkvist. Bengt Lövkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Sävsjö BF's Bengt Lövkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Ingvall in the 59th minute of play. Måns Ingvall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bengt Lövkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sävsjö BF's Bengt Lövkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Måns Ingvall in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Sävsjö BF's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Damm came free, but Bengt Lövkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Manchester UTD's zone, Rudolf Ivarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. If Jens-Ola Askelöf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Måns Ingvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roland Damm struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Bengt Lövkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester UTD. Måns Ingvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Lövkvist having to interfere. Bengt Lövkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Damm in the 90th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
