Robin Lindström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 13th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Sebastian Löfskog kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Kjell-Arne Vidman charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Arne Strömqvist was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Norrahammar's Kjell-Arne Vidman got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Karl-Erik Valrot, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 41 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fabian Askstedt was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Kjell-Arne Vidman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Fabian Askstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Måns Ingvall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sivert Henriksson charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sivert Henriksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Norrahammar's Sivert Henriksson got a free kick in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roland Damm made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Kjell-Arne Vidman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Askstedt was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. 59 minutes into the match, Norrahammar's Karl-Erik Valrot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabian Askstedt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arne Strömqvist made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Sven-Olof Gustafsson sent off a good shot on target. Norrahammar's Kjell-Arne Vidman got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Norrahammar getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Andy Lindholm hit a great ball. If Karl-Erik Valrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell-Arne Vidman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Karl-Erik Valrot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norrahammar were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
