When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ingvar Eklund made a kick off. With a little luck, Åsunden IFK's Bengt-Åke Rudqvist got control of the ball when Arne Finnman tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 57 minutes, Joachim Ekblom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
