Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pelle Källberg made the kick off and thus started the match. Röda Djävlar FC's Patrik Falkrantz got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 4th match minute, Röda Djävlar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Björn Törnqvist to maneuver through the defense. When Patrik Falkrantz came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Röda Djävlar FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrik Falkrantz couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Röda Djävlar FC's Hannes Wästerberg got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 14th minute, Röda Djävlar FC's Tommy Trillkott seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tommy Trillkott the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Röda Djävlar FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tommy Trillkott had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Tommy Trillkott kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Röda Djävlar FC's Christer Groth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Röda Djävlar FC from getting a goal against them. 20 minutes into the game, Grönahög's Anton Hellgren nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christer Groth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Patrik Falkrantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute Patrik Falkrantz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Hafström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Måns Knutsson during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 26 played minutes Röda Djävlar FC got a freekick which was hit by Måns Knutsson. Patrik Falkrantz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alf Hafström having to make a save. After having played for 32 minutes, Patrik Falkrantz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Röda Djävlar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrik Falkrantz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th match minute, Röda Djävlar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Brodin to maneuver through the defense. Röda Djävlar FC's Patrik Falkrantz got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute Patrik Falkrantz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alf Hafström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 45 minutes, Patrik Falkrantz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Röda Djävlar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrik Falkrantz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claes Bäckström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alf Hafström having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrik Falkrantz to make the kick off. A collision led to Röda Djävlar FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Kent Widberg hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Grönahög's Reine Hammarberg got a free kick in the 61st minute. It was beautiful to see Röda Djävlar FC's Jan Brodin in action when he in the 63rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 72nd match minute, Röda Djävlar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Brodin to maneuver through the defense. Röda Djävlar FC's Patrik Falkrantz got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Röda Djävlar FC's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Arenius came free, but Christer Groth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claes Bäckström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christer Groth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pelle Källberg in the 84th minute of play. Röda Djävlar FC were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Grönahög's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jan Brodin took the corner. In the 89th minute, Jonny Valström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christer Groth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harald Arenius in the 92nd minute of the match.
